Industry moves quickly. Sometimes, we all move so quickly that even great work has a relatively short shelf life in our memories. Other times, the work is so powerful that it seems to live on in our hearts years later. Early in 1997, Justin was involved with ISIS Design to create Centrelink’s corporate image (formerly known as The Department of Social Security or DSS). Relaunched to include a broader range of services than before, the task was to reflect the drive towards greater customer focus and service. The design is as valid today as it was 15 years ago. Central to the rebrand of Corporate Express was the breakdown of the silo business activities for the various business streams and the creation brand strategy that unified the company’s presentation. As part of an international company with offices across several countries, the Corporate Standards Guide was widely shared. “It was often Australia that paved the way and our ideas and collateral were copied time and again.
